Key Lifetimes

I was wondering for how long the site keys and the secret keys will be valid for. I've seen on the support forums that keys only last 30 days, but I've also seen that they should not expire. So I was formally wondering for how long a key lasts and how often I should renew a key for a particular set of domains.
