FWIW, this problem self corrected about four hours after it was first discovered. we have no idea what caused it; our webhost provider said they had nothing to do with the function, that all of it is in my control. it's a mystery, albeit no longer a problem impacting our workflow. INternal company users of webforms on an externally hosted site are unable to successfully submit. recaptcha error claims text entered wrong,. see attached screen shot.
