Re: No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA - client verification - no secret

Yes, that make much more sense this way. ThanksHere is similar doc complain: http://bit.ly/1EUfTPl understand now data-callback too. Though the word successful makes me feel that it is already known that user is human but then it would not make sense to verify.("Your callback function that's executed when the user submits a successful CAPTCHA response.")In short, I think I'm not the only one who didn't get the documentation as if it was written properly. Fortunately after couple of hours I think I have the image of it with help of some tries and this group. Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group. Re: No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA - client verification - no secret

As far as I know you would need the secret key to verfiy the response, but this must be done on the server. The page you linked to has examples of rendering the widget, but doesn't include the verification step.On Friday, January 2, 2015 4:01:24 AM UTC-5, regfaker wrote: Hi,so secret key is not needed when using client side JavaScript verification(grecaptcha.getResponse, http://bit.ly/1nsArGt)?Or have I missed something? Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group.
