reCAPTCHA is great for what it does BUT ...

I think reCAPTCHA is a great "human detector" but there are 2 irritating issues I've come across: 1) The text is often too distorted to read and this means it needs to be refreshed multiple times to get to a "human" readable image. 2) If using the "sound" CAPTCHA, the verbiage is virtually always too distorted to hear - out of 10 refreshes I got 1 correct due to such bad distortion.
