Recaptcha always return invalid on contact form submit

I am using Matt's FormMail.pl script with my contact form. here is a version of the contact form which works great without the recaptcha, but with the recaptcha inserted everytime the form is submitted it returns the invalid response result, even with all characters entered correctly. my public and private keys are entered correctly and LWP/UserAgent.pm is installed on my iPage hosting service. Can anyone give me any help on this, I woul;d greatly appreciate it.
