Re: v2.0 image display - only show the text challenge and do not display image matching

Hi all, I agree with all of you: image select challenge is not the best way to check if the users is human or a bot. Having an option to select with method (captcha or image select) reCaptcha have to use to furtherly check for human user will be the way.Il giorno lunedì 13 aprile 2015 15:47:18 UTC+2, John Price ha scritto: I'm fine with the image matching, but there is definitely some cultural bias.  For example, I run a website for a company that does business in various African countries, some of which have a sizable Muslim population (no alcohol), so the beer and wine questions aren't great.  In addition I'm not sure that the various things shown are universally recognized.  Things like domesticated animals (cats/dogs, cows/sheep) or maybe vehicles (cars/motorcycles) are a safer bet.  Is there a plan to refine or allow opt-out of certain matching schemes?  Also the beverage ones make me thirsty ....Thanks,JohnOn Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 3:28:08 PM UTC-4, TW3 wrote: I am looking to implement v2.0 replacing v1.0.  In displaying the widget, can you specify that only Type the text challenges are display and not display image matching? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group.
