Numeric reCaptcha Rejects Every Entry

Ever since the numeric reCaptcha has turned up, it has become a serious barrier to any site in which I encounter it. The problem is this: no matter what I put in, or how clearly the image appears, the app usually rejects my answer — with a failure rate easily approaching 90%. For instance, tonight I have tried over a dozen times to submit an online form, because the reCaptcha keeps telling me I got the answer wrong. On my last attempt, this was the image it gave me: The answer's pretty obvious, right? No ambiguity, no blurry numbers? Not for reCaptcha. Just like all the other attempts, it told me to "correct my answer".
