Passing error parameter to URL but not getting a message displayed

When reCAPTCHA tells my script that the answer given by the user isn't valid, I take the error response and add it to the URL for the challenge, e.g.: However, no error message is being displayed, although the documentation says it should be. If I use the recaptcha URL directly and look at the JavaScript it returns, I can see that the error parameter is getting picked up. What have I misunderstood? Does the system NOT display an error message after all? Regards Philip -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group.
