reCAPTCHA using PHP

Hi everyone. I'm trying to introduce reCAPTCHA to a HTML form on my website using the PHP plugin (the validation script that handles the form data uses PHP so I figured this would be best). However, having obtained my public key and inserting the relevant PHP code into my

element remembering to insert my public key as well, I cannot get the reCAPTCHA logo to even appear? Can anyone offer any help or advice?
