Code path for '!$resp->is_valid' seems to change

Hi Have added reCAPTCHA to a form and works under some circumstances. However, if I initially enter and send a correct response to the challenge (but the mail request fails for another reason such as invalid email), then I click send again (without changing anything), the response to the challenge this time fails. I'm using php and adding the reCAPTCHA to my form with: and then when the send button is pressed, in my send mail script I have: So in summary, I correctly enter reCAPTCHA, first press of the send button correctly passes the "!$resp->is_valid" test and moves to the validation code (which it correctly fails). Then second press (without changes a thing), now fails the "!$resp->is_valid" test and echo's that the reCAPTCHA was entered incorrectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
