Google reCaptcha is extremely difficult to read.

We have been using reCaptcha in our application login page for verification but from last Friday 10th Jan 2014 all of our users are facing problem is getting the reCaptcha code verified correctly as it is no longer even humanly readable format. Is there any changes has been posted or any policy has been changed by Google?
