Cannot get Captcha to show up - and what do I have to do with the php? I'm very confused
I hate to say this, but I cannot get capcha to show up on one of my client's web sites, and what do I have to do with the php?And it doesn't show up on my test server, which is my own server, http://bit.ly/1ryLtaW does not show up on her web site, nor does the page come up:http://bit.ly/1ryLtaY do I have to do to make all this work? What do I have to do with the php code for the captcha and the library code? reCAPTCHA, Google front end servers and China
Hi,I am running a service where we have customers in China. We use reCAPTCHA to keep many kinds of bots in line and limit the attacks against our service. We have been very happy with the product.Apparently reCAPTCHA has migrated to Google front end servers in some point, as we have started to get feedback from our Chinese users that the CAPTCHA does not work (as it cannot load JS files from Google servers). Google front end servers are blocked and/or greatly slowed down by the great firewall of China. Maybe it was working before by the chance, maybe the servers where not the Google public front end servers before. However, we'd like to keep using the product if it is possible. I have also witnessed the China issue with other services before, e.g. when hosting Python packages on Google Code and those where not accessible from China.I am asking for the advice how to mitigate the issue- Is there a way to proxy reCAPTCHA requests somehow through our front-end servers, so that Chinese users would not need to face Google servers? I am pretty sure reCAPTCHA is doing some logic related to user IP addresses, so this surely would mess it up. Resizing for fluid grids
Hello, I am using a customized Joomla template and have inserted Captcha Recaptcha into some custom forms. The forms function as they should however the Captcha Recaptcha is out of the flow. I have tried re-sizing using the iframe parameters but this has made no difference. Is there any way to resize the the recaptcha? It would be awesome if it could work with fluid grid but this is not a necessity. I would really appreciate some advice. I haven't used my Mastercard in a while and as a result have forgotten my password for the website for the card. Recently I've wanted to purchase some things online and would like to go into my account and see what's up with my finances, however every single time I've gone in and enquired for a new password to be sent to my email address, the reCAPTCHA box is there. These are annoyances in themselves, but to have that message come up every time has been so.. Anyway, please tell me what this means. Is it like this for everyone or just me? I put reCaptha on my website a few weeks ago and have just discovered its not working! When the numbers/ letters are typed in, its not revealing the email address as its meant to?! reCAPTCHA on a commercial / high traffic site
We're planning on using reCAPTCHA as a throttling/gateway/security mechanism on an otherwise open registration site that could potentially see upwards of 20-30K concurrent users. I can not find a link to the latest reCAPTCHA terms of service, and do not wish to violate any rules. Is there a limit to the number of reCAPTCHA requests that can originate from a single api key? Are there any other restrictions? Is there in an SLA or other commercial support available? For heaven's sake guys.... Search this Google group for the exact error text and you will find the solution posted repeatedly dozens of times. It is an issue of missing one of the places where you key must be provided. Search it.

How does Recaptcha handle multiple users behind the same IP? (i.e. universities)
Hi there! I working on a web project that targets college and university students, and while protecting some forms with Recaptcha we thought of this issue. What would happen if hundreds of students access our website from the same IP? I imagine big institutions own several IPs of their own, but this may not be the case for everyone. Has Google a way to identify this kind of sources or do we have to change our anti-spam protection to a more "permissive" technique? Still working on this issue... I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to what's going on. I can have two IDENTICAL copies of code on different URLs, and one will work, and one will not. The one that does not work is always in IE11 with the website added to the compatibility mode list either by the user, or through a corporate policy. I can sometimes get the captcha to show up by playing with the documents mode in IE11 developer tools, but unless I manually tell the page to render in IE=x (7/8/9, sometimes 10) with the X-UA-Compatbile header, I will just not see the image and get the 414 error. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group. Problem With Form After Putting In Captcha Code
I'm having a problem with my form code after I put the captcha code in. The Captcha code is working fine, but I cannot get it to pull up the correct page when the form is submitted correctly. Instead it just goes to a blank page - the form gets sent and comes through the email, but it doesn't notify anyone of that, so they have no way of knowing if it worked or not. I just re-installed a new Re-CAPTCHA after hearing that Google has made it a lot easier for humans to read, and on their intro page @http://bit.ly/1rEJZuv they only use numbers.. Yet when i installed it the old complicated letters and numbers still displays, i've tested on all browsers and different PC's and still get the same old CAPTCHA.. Recaptcha buttons not working on dinamically added form
I have a user registration system that uses reCaptcha. The registration form is dynamically added in a modal window and uses AJAX for validation. Everything is working except for the reCaptcha buttons - new challenge, audio, help. I assume this can be because the modal window was added dynamically. Ajax JS broken in Opera9
The Ajax JS version of recaptcha has been broken since Wednesday, perhaps longer, in Opera 9. Error: Captcha Check Failed - ALWAYS
I have a site using perl script from Matt's Script Archive, FormMail.pl, to process form data. I recently began the implementation of reCAPTCHA to cut down on spam to the form. No matter what I put in the captcha, even with the audio version I get "ERROR: Captcha Check Failed", even with the audio version which is clear. I have checked and double checked everything and for the life o me cannot figure out why. Any help would be appreciated. Unable to solve captcha
Hello your captcha is really bad. My users try to post some posts in their forum using your captcha and it's impossible to solve it. I my self tried like 30 times and didn't solve. Also my user in my forum told me he clicked on the speaker to use the sound and he still didn't understand. Javascript example
Hi, I need to use javascript code, in other words, the 'without plugins' methods to incoorperate reCaptcha into our system. I have managed to get it to show, but now need to verify the user's input. I know I have to use the API call: http://bit.ly/1ovVJTO but don't actually know how to do it within a javascript function and how to get the user's IP address that is a required parameter? I realise this would be 'a piece of cake' for most of you, but not something I have done before, so was hoping someone could provide me with some help or examples to help me?
