Problem With Form After Putting In Captcha Code
I'm having a problem with my form code after I put the captcha code in. The Captcha code is working fine, but I cannot get it to pull up the correct page when the form is submitted correctly. Instead it just goes to a blank page - the form gets sent and comes through the email, but it doesn't notify anyone of that, so they have no way of knowing if it worked or not. Tough On Bots Easy On Humans?
I just re-installed a new Re-CAPTCHA after hearing that Google has made it a lot easier for humans to read, and on their intro page @http://bit.ly/1rEJZuv they only use numbers.. Yet when i installed it the old complicated letters and numbers still displays, i've tested on all browsers and different PC's and still get the same old CAPTCHA.. Repatcha without cookies?

I am using Dreamweaver to create a webform. 1st I had an existing HTML form and saved it as PHP with Dreamweaver.I uses all the code and files from the Google ReCaptcha site as requested.I get the ReCaptcha to show, I fill-in the form and click Submit but then it opens the verify.php page and I can see all verify.php source code (this happens if the code is correct and if the code is wrong). Miquel, Yes, I went through it with a fine tooth comb on both sides to the point of re-entering all the code. I finally gave up. Recaptcha buttons not working on dinamically added form
I have a user registration system that uses reCaptcha. The registration form is dynamically added in a modal window and uses AJAX for validation. Everything is working except for the reCaptcha buttons - new challenge, audio, help. I assume this can be because the modal window was added dynamically. Error: Captcha Check Failed - ALWAYS
I have a site using perl script from Matt's Script Archive, FormMail.pl, to process form data. I recently began the implementation of reCAPTCHA to cut down on spam to the form. No matter what I put in the captcha, even with the audio version I get "ERROR: Captcha Check Failed", even with the audio version which is clear. I have checked and double checked everything and for the life o me cannot figure out why. Any help would be appreciated. Hello your captcha is really bad. My users try to post some posts in their forum using your captcha and it's impossible to solve it. I my self tried like 30 times and didn't solve. Also my user in my forum told me he clicked on the speaker to use the sound and he still didn't understand. Javascript example
Hi, I need to use javascript code, in other words, the 'without plugins' methods to incoorperate reCaptcha into our system. I have managed to get it to show, but now need to verify the user's input. I know I have to use the API call: http://bit.ly/1ovVJTO but don't actually know how to do it within a javascript function and how to get the user's IP address that is a required parameter? I realise this would be 'a piece of cake' for most of you, but not something I have done before, so was hoping someone could provide me with some help or examples to help me? reCaptcha Box not displayed with PHP library
Hello:On one of the web sites I manage we are using the PHP library for reCaptcha. Recently we have been contacted by several users where apparently the reCaptcha box (where you type the two words/numbers to match the words/numbers in the image) is not being displayed when the form loads. So far it is not clear whether this is related to a specific browser or device, I have tested the form successfully in numerous browsers (including Firefox, Safari, and Chrome) and have not been able to duplicate the issue. There is some indication that it may be an intermittent issue, one user who contacted us who was not seeing the reCaptcha field said when they tried the form again later the reCaptcha field was loading.Two questions: Are there any known issues with specific browsers or devices being unable to display the reCaptcha field? Is there any way of checking that the reCaptcha field has been loaded and displaying an error message to the user if it has not been loaded? I have reviewed the documentation and there doesn't appear to be any way of doing this. You can retrieve an error message after the form has been posted (through $resp->error) and pass it to the recaptcha_get_html function for display, however is there a way of determining whether the html for the reCaptcha field has been loaded before the form is posted? Basically what I speculate is happening is when some users load the form, the reCaptcha field is not being displayed. Then when they submit the form reCaptcha returns the "incorrect-captcha-sol" error, because they could not enter a value since the reCaptcha field was not displayed. This is very confusing for the user because the error makes no sense since they can't see the reCaptcha field. We really need to be able to return an error that the field could not be loaded. Google Captcha horribly broken pathetic service
I cannot tell you how many sites, how many instances, where I've sat here trying to read the undecipherable horsecrap that your captcha gives me. We're talking letters so horribly close together, mixed in with the background swish colour. I pity any senior citizen or visually impaired person that has to use this service. While it's important to deter spam, it's also equally important to provide a service one can actually use. In at least 5 cases I've had to abandoned the website I was trying to register with because your useless crap failed to provide me anything close to the English alphabet. As an example: Can you tell me what this is? It certainly isn't ktvmunr. I gave up after staring at my screen for 4 days without eating or sleeping or important bodily functions. Recaptcha blocking admin login
I entered the recaptcha codes from my main URL site into the subdomain subscriber submission page. Now my admin login page has recaptcha added to it and when I enter the displayed code, it is not accepted. That locks me out of my site. How do I remove this?

Testing reCaptcha
I'm working on a web application that displays a captcha after a certain amount of failed login attempts. I have automated tests that test the functionality of my application. Right now I have a manual test to make sure that my captcha is set-up correctly and validates captchas correctly without locking users out. Is there an automated way to test that captcha is set-up correctly in my application? I want to make sure that my code changes don't break captcha functionality and I don't want to have to do a manual test every time there are code changes. Impossible to restart password or user name
Hi everyone, I have installed the registration module and the hikashop component on my Joomla site. Everything works well except when the user wants to remember the password or the username, I think it has something to do with the captcha because it is not showing on the system. I have added the public and private keys, and I think every item is being configured properly, but not sure. Can someone help me out here? Is it another problem? When you type correctly there is also the right answer...I would like to know how people must fill the code before submiting the code.or if the submit and the code is not filled i dont get the message. Recaptcha always return invalid on contact form submit
I am using Matt's FormMail.pl script with my contact form. here is a version of the contact form which works great without the recaptcha, but with the recaptcha inserted everytime the form is submitted it returns the invalid response result, even with all characters entered correctly. my public and private keys are entered correctly and LWP/UserAgent.pm is installed on my iPage hosting service. Can anyone give me any help on this, I woul;d greatly appreciate it. Audio not working on recaptcha
The audio is not working on reCaptcha. I have a site that may have visitors that need the audio reCaptcha. I also want to comply with Federal guidelines regarding accessibility. I understand that they can use accessibility features included with the Microsoft Operating System but would still like to see this problem fixed. I've attached an mp3 from the reCaptcha on my site with the garbled sound. It's like that on other sites I run, too. Erro no recaptcha

reCAPTCHA missing API error message needs to be more explicit!
Hello,The missing API message displayed by reCAPTCHA is clear but needs to be more precise. Many people in this Google group (including me) have been confused by it: To use reCAPTCHA you must get an API key from http://bit.ly/1eRc2iQ While the message is crystal-clear about what we should do to correct the problem, it isn't really precise and is hardly perceived as a problem! It looks more like a friendly message that would be displayed instead of reCAPTCHA's image while it actually makes the script die and stops the page's display.On complex websites, the cause of a PHP script dying can be very hard to trace-back. It actually took me hours to figure out what was happening, calling debug_backtrace() and all. The message displayed by die()/exit() don't show any file path/line number, it is thus the script author's responsibility to display something usable.In short, I think more details would be appreciated for this message. Something like:reCAPTCHA error: This message is displayed by reCAPTCHA. The display of the page was stopped because you did not provide a valid API key. Unusual Traffic Captcha Not Working
Out of nowhere I got this error message when doing a google search:Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. It's very strange. I think it's something specific to my desktop computer like a virus or malware as the other computers on my home network don't get this. When it's on this error page it allows me to continue my search provided that I enter a CAPTCHA text and when I do, it won't accept it. I can try it 100 times and it never accepts what I type in. Any ideas? I was wondering why to use reCAPTCHA requires willing users of this "free service" toinclude a javascript from the server of google.Including a foreign javascript, that is javascript file like the reCAPTCHA, would haveserious security risk for us users. Google could at will send evil code in the javascript.This code being executed in the context of the our website has evey chance to stealand spy all the sensitive data the user enters in the website form. Code path for '!$resp->is_valid' seems to change
Hi Have added reCAPTCHA to a form and works under some circumstances. However, if I initially enter and send a correct response to the challenge (but the mail request fails for another reason such as invalid email), then I click send again (without changing anything), the response to the challenge this time fails. I'm using php and adding the reCAPTCHA to my form with: and then when the send button is pressed, in my send mail script I have: So in summary, I correctly enter reCAPTCHA, first press of the send button correctly passes the "!$resp->is_valid" test and moves to the validation code (which it correctly fails). Then second press (without changes a thing), now fails the "!$resp->is_valid" test and echo's that the reCAPTCHA was entered incorrectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. reCaptcha block not showing on Failed login
I am using reCaptcha on Drupal 7.26. The block appears on the login page on the home page but when a user forgets his password and gets a new screen with login the reCaptcha block does not appear.
