Having a hard time getting recaptcha to display correctly on website

Trying to get recaptcha installed on my website. My problems isn't with it working but rather displaying correctly. If I use the recaptcha URL directly and look at the JavaScript it returns, I can see that the error parameter is getting picked up. What have I misunderstood? PHP recaptcha not working. Key Issue?

After downloading the PHP reCAPTCHA package, I went ahead and threw the "example-captcha.php" file into my LAMP test environment, along with the library file. After confirming that it worked, I tried adding the example page (& library page) to my web server, and viewing the page from my browser. For some reason it is not working. I have triple checked my public & private keys, and I tried using my server's IP instead of the domain, but still no luck. I read that any valid keys work with localhost, so I figured that it must be a key issue (perhaps my domain is not being recognized properly). Could there be issues because I am using HTTPS? Also, it does not have to be in the root folder of my website correct? One of my domains already had a global recaptcha key. I ended up just using that one. reCaptcha for internal/external servers

Hello,I am trying to implement reCaptcha for my organization's website. The server sits in the domain patienthub.com but the outward web address(what they type into the browsers address bar) is mypatient.org, do I need to specify both of these when I register for reCaptcha keys? or just the outward facing address? I assume this is client side, so the outward facing web address is all that is needed. That error is not likely a key error. It is a coding problem. Depending on the version of PHP you are using, I have seen problems with this line of code:if (!$resp->is_valid) { Try making it slightly different, maybe: if ( false == $resp->is_valid ) { or perhaps: if ( $resp->is_valid != true ) { That may get you going in the right direction. I have implemented the recaptcha on our site and i am seeing new street view based recaptcha rather then the distorted text. Interface broken up

I have difficulty with the interface breaking up on the web page. For a long time recaptcha worked fine for me and then some months ago it suddenly got broken up (graphics all in the wrong place) and after working with it for some time and not getting results and then seeing that everybody was having the same problem and no solutions came down from Google I assumed that the project was abandoned and I started switching over to a new captcha service. Then mysteriously recaptcha got fixed. Now the graphics are breaking up on me again but only on some pages and not others (attached screenshot shows one fail.) I try to give more room to it but it is already the biggest thing on the page. Part of the problem might be the overwhelming-ness of the graphics. Do you really need that nice thick border? Does it really need to be so busy with cool icons and fun blank spaces? If we could get a box with a photo and a box for a user response that would meet the need. ReCaptcha suddenly shows only one challenge-word instead of two

Without any changes to the site, the ReCaptcha suddenly shows only one challenge-word, i.e. the "unknown" word. reCAPTCHA, Google front end servers and China

Hi,I am running a service where we have customers in China. We use reCAPTCHA to keep many kinds of bots in line and limit the attacks against our service. We have been very happy with the product.Apparently reCAPTCHA has migrated to Google front end servers in some point, as we have started to get feedback from our Chinese users that the CAPTCHA does not work (as it cannot load JS files from Google servers). Google front end servers are blocked and/or greatly slowed down by the great firewall of China. Maybe it was working before by the chance, maybe the servers where not the Google public front end servers before. However, we'd like to keep using the product if it is possible. I have also witnessed the China issue with other services before, e.g. when hosting Python packages on Google Code and those where not accessible from China.I am asking for the advice how to mitigate the issue- Is there a way to proxy reCAPTCHA requests somehow through our front-end servers, so that Chinese users would not need to face Google servers? I am pretty sure reCAPTCHA is doing some logic related to user IP addresses, so this surely would mess it up. Resizing for fluid grids

Hello, I am using a customized Joomla template and have inserted Captcha Recaptcha into some custom forms. The forms function as they should however the Captcha Recaptcha is out of the flow. I have tried re-sizing using the iframe parameters but this has made no difference. Is there any way to resize the the recaptcha? It would be awesome if it could work with fluid grid but this is not a necessity. I would really appreciate some advice.
