[reCAPTCHA version 2] Loading issue with IE9

We are testing out the new version of reCAPTCHA for our site and ran into an issue with users running IE9. Bug: The reCAPTCHA wouldn't load on the page so the users could not complete it. Research: I had a hunch that it was async or defer causing this since I don't use those much usually. We are using jQuery and I found this bug on their site. http://bit.ly/1HPz4GH Also http://bit.ly/1LBpfkr that it is most likely a bug with IE9 itself. Workaround: Instead of from http://bit.ly/1isLedv use Caveat: We are still testing this workaround but so far it is working for the users that it wasn't working for before. Stupid reCAPTCHA driving me

This not so good made image reCAPTCHA is driving me nuts !The worst is the one with roadsings i fail at this one the most.Im using addclicking page and i need to fill out reCAPTCHA every 30 seconds.Most of that 30 seconds i spend on filling out reCAPTCHA for 2nd or 3rd time, sometimes even 4th...Please make it work properly already.There are many bad " memes " out there about CAPTCHA as it is.I really hope this get solved fast, this has been going on for so long that its just sad.Thank you for your time -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group. I cannot get the callback to fire for success:

cannot solve without javascript on

i am trying to solve a captcha without javascript installed, and you will not allow me. i have attached 5 screen shots of captchas that i have failed which i believe are correct. if you see an error then please let me know. otherwise, please inform on how to solve the captcha without javascript enabled. as soon as i enable javascript, the captcha is easily solved and i can proceed. however, there is a reason i do not have javascript enabled and it seems you provide a sufficient interface to solve the captcha without javascript enabled, so i would prefer to use that method. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "reCAPTCHA" group. The first warning is where your error lies. In your server's configuration, you cannot open external webpages as a file pointer. It works because you are still posting back to google that the recaptcha has been verified. I think you need to refer that question to the provider of the plugin. Donna, you really taught me something. I kept saying things like "unless you want to parse it as a string" as though that were the last thing in the world you would want to do with it. Now it turns out that's the easiest thing to do with it!I agree with you about bouncing ideas. The STRPOS code actually works just fine. I don't check for "success" I check for 'false' but you can check for 'true' as well depending on how you want to proceed in your code. How the hell can google run something so freaking unreliable? nocaptcha recaptcha behaves in a totally random fashion. Why unable to chose old recaptcha?

Nocaptcha is NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. Sometimes it opens as a small window with the "not a robot" checkmark and other times it loads unwrapped (already on the "click spagetti" screen) right away. Sometimes I get a key to enter below after solving it, other times It authenticates me automatically. Now the fun part is that these things are ACTUALLY CRICUAL! On many sites, if the nocaptcha doesn't either load or end up minimized, it BLOCKS FURTHER CONTENT or BECOMES OVERLAYED BY IT AND THUS INNACCESABLE. Refreshing instantly DOESN'T WORK - the recaptcha always loads in the same fashion it did before - but when I come after a few hours, it usually changes its behaviour. The only solution I know to this is changing html in the chrome dev box so I can access what I need... which is very slow and painful. Why is there no way to get old captcha instead?!!! It's driving me insane and really mad at google as nobody with 46 chromosomes should ever let this happen... it even happens on major sites like 4chan or Tumblr. Usually a form has some action= which calls another page, and the verification is usually on that other page.The captcha display and the verification code are both meant to be embedded in code that's already there to do whatever you want the form to do, and the exact captcha code will depend on the code in which it's embedded.So we need to know what code is already there.Are you using version 1 or version 2? I agree with Carl, it is culturally insensitive. Also, as a vegan, I loath having to identify "steak" and "hamburgers".
