Google reCAPTCHA v2 - Resize widget

Google reCAPTCHA v2 widget has 2 defined size: 'normal' and 'compact' But we still need resize to fix our form. How can do that? I hacked like this

noscript version not displaying the textarea to post verification code into

I have added the noscript html from the Google instructions to my login page:

This produces a 2 word captcha as expected but on successful verification I get an iframe saying ''Copy this code and paste it in the empty box below" and a field with the code in it (see screenshot). However, the textarea to paste the code in is hidden by the iframe. Surely this should be a part of the frame so it sits just below the text? Stop asking me about low rez food images!

Here's a suggestion: let the users choose what kind of captcha they want to solve. I'm sick of these food captchas. Not only do they take much longer to solve (5+ seconds vs 2 seconds for number captchas), the definitions are often vague and confusing. What is a salad? Does it still count if there's a little meat on it? or if it's a part of a plate with other stuff on it? Now it would have been fine if the question says select 2 images so I can select the 2 that look most like salad, but it doesn't, and I have to CAREFULLY inspect EACH picture. Even then I can still get it wrong because you're asking a question without giving the exact criteria for a correct answer. Also, the images are too low rez for 2015. At 150% zoom they're uncomfortably blurry to look at, and I only have a 1080p screen. It will look worse on the higher rez screens that are common these days.I much rather solve number/word captchas. Can't we have a option stored in the cookies to always do number/word captchas? or differently themed captchas with cars, buildings, etc? recaptcha siteverify with Firewall

On the server on which we need to verify against "http://bit.ly/11H4Jer", server is firewall protected. Can we use specific google server ip eg (216.58.217.132) rather than www.google.com for the firewall entry? So that only 1 google IP firewall rule is created. I am not a fan of ReCaptcha V2

Every time I see the images for ReCaptcha V2, half the time I wanna throw up from the disgusting food that is shown. I think if google is gonna do this they need to do it right by letting the users who are viewing the captchas and need to solve them pick what images they see. more inappropriate images

We recently switched to reCaptcha and our visits have been really offended by the image matching tests. With so many possibilities in the world, why focus on "identify steak"? Running a health related website and this is just not jiving with our visitors. Is there any way to remove this particular test? Someone from Google to contact? Verification "g-recaptcha-response" PHP doesn't work

Hi there,I've tried some solutions, proposed in different blogs. None of them works, the form can still be sent without filling the reCaptcha-checkbox. The support of the earlier version 1.0 seemed to be more explained. OK, it's very easy to display the new one in a website, but what good is that if validation is so difficult. reCA{TICHA Check Box Checked without Question

The following code works much of the time. But there are other times when a user clicks on the checkbox, and then the box automatically gets a check without a challenge question being display. Browsers being used are Internet Explorer 11 and Chrome. Note that I am not using a form or input tag. Is this a problem? Please help!

Paul, I totally agree, and Akshay's response to you does not apply to me. I am providing a link to a current sweepstakes entry form whose image captchas are impossible to solve, yet for other reCaptcha forms I seldom see the type I'm seeing on this form. It consists of 2 phrases with hard-to-read characters splotched by a black blob, and nothing I've attempted to enter works. I noticed this type of reCaptcha on several forms this past week when they never came up before and I've simply stopped entering those sweepstakes every time I see these idiotic challenge phrases.Here's the link where these stupid phrases appear:http://bit.ly/1L7Z82j would not be so bad but when you try to do an audio reCaptcha to listen for the numbers they are literally impossible to hear properly, the audio is so fuzzy.98% of my other reCaptcha entry forms do not display these ridiculous challenge phrases and I would like Google to do something about it instead of glad-handing us and providing boiler-plate promotional stuff like "But you should note that Google ReCaptcha is helping millions of websites worldwide by combating spam and bots on their behalf." But you should note that Google ReCaptcha is helping millions of websites worldwide by combating spam and bots on their behalf. ReCaptcha takes many things into factor while challenging you. For example if it thinks you're human it provides far simple one word captcha. However if it thinks you're a bot/spammer it provides a tough captcha. And by solving that captcha not only are you proving that you're human but you're also helping in improving maps and digitizing books. More information here: http://bit.ly/1L7u7i3 to you getting tough captchas, It might be because you are using a VPN/TOR or behind NAT. That means your IP address might have a not so good history. It's now more intelligent. IE8 support for v2

Hi All I'm trying to use reCaptcha v2 in IE8 and having issues with the display. In particular the error Object doesn't support property or method 'getContext'. I therefore imported excanvas.js. However this still didn't solve the problem because the code doesn't invoke initElement before calling getContext. reCAPTCHA does not appear good - cant publish posts

As you can see only 3 images are shown and it can not be solved- only guess the correct pictures. I tried some computers , some browser like chrome , mozila frefox and the error shown always. I did not install reCAPTCHA, i work at blogger platform (so the capcha added automatically) , i leave a message on blogger help forum, but thet said to ask here. Solved... It turned out that WEBSENSE is blocking the certificates at gstatic.com. The issue is not applicable to external customers. recaptchas now unusable

At the following link, there are over a DOZEN attempts by me to decipher one of those idiotic recaptcha tasks. This includes spaces between words, no spaces between words, attempting to fill in the random box that appears at the bottom, you name it. Has google finally decided to break the internet by making it impossible for humans to sign up for anything? Is the goal to actually bring more bots into the world, as anyone with access to a high-performance cluster just writes scripts to throw hundreds of thousands of random letters at every stupid "recaptcha" in the world? Hello! ReCaptcha 2.0 is showing the same behaviour for me (scrolling to the top of the page whenever the image verification popup is displayed). The scrolling to the top happens shortly after the user clicks the checkbox. Here is a full HTML example (based on of of Google's own examples for recaptcha) that shows the same behaviour: http://bit.ly/1HySwLe I tested this example in Chrome Version 43.0.2357.124 and in Firefox Version 38.0.5. Both browser show the same behaviour. This bug seems to be introduced just a few days ago and is extremely annoying to our users. Should have stated Firefox version is 38.0.5. I think this is related to Vellarasan Dhanapathy's post: Mozilla is blocking some of the javascript because of Certificate issue. These are the scripts that firefox is blocking its certificates. http://bit.ly/1eCg7Yn http://bit.ly/1ydxrCc http://bit.ly/1IJWqTe Once we add the certificates manually, then it allows the reCaptcha to show. How to overcome this problem because we cannot tell all the users to add these certificates manually. This needs to be addressed immediately. What good is recaptcha if it does not display...?
