Captcha image not shown in my website
Hi all,I've started recently creating a website for a family event. I want to include a reCaptcha in a form to avoid spam. I'm using the PHP plugin and have followed these instructions: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/php?hl=es.I'm testing the captcha in the local host using global keys (they are supposed to work in the local host) but I can't manage to get the captcha image to be shown (I've tried in Firefox and in Eclipse internal browser).I've attached the files so you can check if I'm making any mistakes. In the attached files I've substituted my keys by private_key and public_key but I've made the tests with the right keys which appear in my reCaptcha account.I've read in the recent posts that some user are experiencing problems with reCaptcha and actually I've realized that some of them have moved reCaptacha from their websites. Readers spend 5 minutes trying to figure out what the garble is so they can type it in. There are a lot of better sites that recaptcha does that doesn't require the reader to get frustrated and stop reading the web site. Don't let this happen to your site....readers have too many options to read one that has recaptcha and insults their intelligence. Messages not received dependent on email address
Hi, I've found that when people fill in my online contact form, sometimes the message isn't transmitted. What's odd is that the message is stored in the database but not sent to me. If someone uses a gmail address or hotmail, I dont get the confirmation email. If I use the same message but change the email address, the message comes through fine! reCAPTCHA is great for what it does BUT ...
I think reCAPTCHA is a great "human detector" but there are 2 irritating issues I've come across: 1) The text is often too distorted to read and this means it needs to be refreshed multiple times to get to a "human" readable image. 2) If using the "sound" CAPTCHA, the verbiage is virtually always too distorted to hear - out of 10 refreshes I got 1 correct due to such bad distortion. reCaptcha Installed on Testimonials page in Joomla Site - But I'm still being bombarded by Spam. What can I do?
I have a website set up on Joomla 1.5.26 using RS Monials 1.5.3 to collect customer testimonials. I was getting lots of bogus testimonials that are just spam (several per day). RS Monials has a built in reCaptcha function, so I registered an account and enabled it.This was not cutting AT ALL on the spam, so I disabled the form for 3 weeks hoping the spammers would forget the site and move on. As soon as I re-enabled it, the spammers were back. Multiple Administrators for sites?
With other Google tools (like Webmaster Tools or Analytics) I can assign multiple users as administrators.Is that possible with reCAPTCHA? Found the issue. it was in the config file. all references must be in https as Facebook now requires all app to be servered over https. I have an page thats using CAPTCHA and works fine on my servers but when I access the page through a Facebook page tab app the captcha doesn't work. Any ideas? reCaptcha not showing
Hi 2 All, I have incorporated reCaptcha a few days ago.It was showing properly,but now its not showing.The code is there and I have done nothing.Its working on localhost.I have uploaded another keys but still not showing. CAPTCHA field disappaers after pressing submit but before form is submitted
When a user submits a form on my site, the CAPTCHA field disappears before the form is submitted causing the submit button to bounce up before the form is processed.E.g., completing http://www.google.com/recaptcha/demo/ causes the submit button to bounce up before the form is actually submitted and verdict is displayed.I can set a fixed height to the div containing the CAPTCHA field but the field itself still disappears. Issue in reCaptcha Validation
when we entered extra letter after the correct reCaptcha code, it is validating as correct example: image values: 147 789523 i entered the values like: 1478 789523 another example with alphabet words: image values: qwer wsdgtrf i entered the values like: qwerg wsdgtrf For the above both the cases reCaptcha service has responded as correct.Please suggest. Can't get recaptcha key
I'm using service for first & trying to get my first key. When I type in domain to form & hit "create key" button, the domain I just typed in is deleted & I get an error message saying "required field must not be blank." So I retype & get same result. I've tried this on two different computers using two different browsers (FF & Safari). This makes no sense — I can't even get through step 1! I didn't see any other topics on this problem. How do I remove an email address I used with reCaptcha, and use a different one?? NEED HELP PLZ :) ...
I had placed a personal email address for reCaptcha when I was experimenting, and now its bee working so well that its kept me from a lot of emails i really need to get... As it was for experimenting.. I have removed it from my account. I have removed it from my sites, i have removed the API in where I can - however to this day after a month in a half of removal from "https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create" in my accounts area, as well having multiple sites - its still blocking people from emailing this personal account... New reCaptcha rollout plan
Google recently updated reCaptcha to make it easier for humans but harder for bots. However, none of the new versions have shown up on my site yet, and I don't see anything in the API docs about the new version. Issue with security keys for DNS name and IP address (Input error: Invalid referer)

Is it possible to use reCAPTCHA without iframe and any javascript?
For the security reason we have disabled the javascript purposes we have disabled iframes and javascript on our web application. now we would like to implement reCAPTCHA in login process. But I see that it embeds iframe on the page. and which is disabled therefore it cannot be seen. Is there a way of implementing the reCAPTCHA without using iframe and javascript? Hello, I had a problem with the Firewal, DNS UDP port has been blocked for one day. The problem is now solved, but every time I try to connect to the google search, I get a captcha message. I put the right text, but will not let me continue with google search. When I use an orther browser, I get no captcha message. We are two people having this problem, me on Opera browser and my colleague on Chrome browser. Do you know what to do to remove this captcha? I like Opera browser and Google search. Greetings...I recently registered a domain for recaptcha in use with a COFEECUP web form. I double checked and ALL my keys are correct and yet I still keep getting this error message. FWIW, this problem self corrected about four hours after it was first discovered. we have no idea what caused it; our webhost provider said they had nothing to do with the function, that all of it is in my control. it's a mystery, albeit no longer a problem impacting our workflow.
