Not sure if this is the right place, but I canNOT get the captcha to recognize any of the words I type in when using Opera and Safari. It just redirects me back to the page. Am I doing something wrong? I have enabled ReCaptcha on my Joomla 2.5.11 site and it is set as the default Captcha in Global Configuration. After I fill out my contact form and Captcha, I hit Send and get the error "Could not open socket". I tried changing the line in recaptcha.php to: if (($fs = @fsockopen(gethostbyname($host), $port, $errno, $errstr, 10)) == false ) but I am still getting the same error. The reCAPTCHA always appear ""Could not open socket"" no matter I enter the correct or incorrect code. Can anyone give a recaptchalib.php file so that I can check which part I am wrong. Hi All I was wondering if anyone could help me with a display problem im having with reCAPTCHA? I simply copy the HTML from the website and it appears in my webpage. however, the bottom of the box dosent line up and looks wrong. Captcha doesn;w allow me to use Wordpress IOS

Captcha is great at stopping SPAM - but if you use the IOS Wordpress on your iPhone it prevents it from working It doesn't accept your password! just half an hour ago i have installed this plugin i have also put public and private keys in settings and then logged out to login again to see the recaptcha on the admin login of my site. reCAPTCHA not displaying

I need help regarding with recaptcha, I've tried to install it on a Clean Wordpress site and it worked well, when I installed on a site with directory restrictions, security plugins and other plugins the captcha didn't show up. I speculate that the directory restrictions might cause reCAPTCHA not to show up, or maybe a conflict scripts from other plugins? Please reply your suggestions for this, really need help badly. Adrian, Can you see the business case though? I am not offloading any functionality, not bypassing anything either. The user still enters their response once, and then the reCaptcha request is sent once.
